The Situation
Our client, Willie R., severely injured his wrist when getting out of the shower on a Transocean drillship. At the time of the injury, he had no mobility in his right hand and was seen immediately by the company doctor. Due to this injury, Willie had to have a synovectomy, which is a procedure to remove the membrane that lines a joint due to constant and massive inflammation. In the aftermath of the surgery, Willie had to have a permanent nerve stimulator placed in his wrist. He came to us worried about his recovery and his ability to pay bills in the event that he remained too injured to work.
The Aftermath
We have been working on this case since March of 2021, and are pleased to report that we have secured a large settlement for Willie and his family.
