Our client, Floyd W., was on his way to work when a tractor-trailer ran a red light and violently struck his vehicle. The jaws of life were required to extract him. He suffered injuries to his lower back and a right shoulder tear. His doctor attempted to repair the tears in his shoulder, but the surgery was only partially successful.
This case had a major issue as the driver of the tractor-trailer had stolen it. He usually only drove it for his employer to wash it but took it when it was in a third-party wash bay and went on a "rampage," driving recklessly around the city.
VB Attorneys filed suit against the driver and his employer, but the pandemic shut down courts. Mediation was suggested, and a settlement was reached. Our client received what he needed to recover financially.
