Vuk Vujasinovic selected to Super Lawyers in 2018 - VB Attorneys

Vuk Vujasinovic is selected to Super Lawyers again in 2018. Super Lawyers, a Thompson Reuters organization, is an independent and impartial organization that selects attorneys from all firm sizes all over the United States. Based on peer nominations, lawyers cannot buy or nominate themselves to be considered for this honor. Once nominated, the lawyer is reviewed by an independent committee. The independent committee makes its selections based on independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations.

Super Lawyers searches for lawyers who have attained honors, credentials, and case results which indicate a high degree of professional competence. Their research department evaluates each nominee based on a dozen indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, including:

• verdicts and settlements
• experience
• honors and awards
• special licenses
• certifications
• community service
• other outstanding achievements.

Of all the lawyers in Texas, only 5% of attorneys are selected to Super Lawyers each year.

Patented Super Lawyers selection process is proven to be impartial

While some honors can be bought, the Super Lawyers selection process has been patented since 2013 and has been proven to be impartial. The New Jersey Supreme Court investigated the details of the Super Lawyers selection process in 2008 and concluded that it is a “comprehensive, good-faith and detailed attempt to produce a list of lawyers [who] have attained high peer recognition, meet ethical standards, and have demonstrated some degree of achievement in their field…. It is absolutely clear from this record that [Super Lawyers does] not permit a lawyer to buy one’s way onto the list.”
