Several people were injured when a Greyhound bus was slammed from behind by an 18 wheeler along interstate 45 near The Woodlands. While the authorities in Montgomery County still investigate the exact cause of the crash, reports are saying that the Greyhound Bus was stalled on the outside shoulder when an 18 Wheeler crashed into the back of the bus.

Montgomery County Police reports that there were thirty people on the bus at the time of the accident. Five of which have been transported to the local hospital for treatment and care. Reports note that the driver of the 18 Wheeler also suffered several injuries but is not in critical condition at this time. The big truck took out a large traffic sign along the freeway leaving the water bottles he was transporting scattered throughout the road.

We know that the Greyhound bus broke down and was forced to pull over to the shoulder. At this time it is unsure as to how or why the 18 Wheeler crashed into the bus. That being said, we see these kinds of accidents happen all too often. And many times, passengers are seriously injured and fall victim to the negligence of bus and trucking companies.
