Patience, a nurse at LBJ hospital, was in her car when it was rear-ended by an 18-wheeler. The truck was driven by a trucker who was on the job with Sweet Express, LLC, at the time of the accident.Patience primarily hurt her back and neck, and had to take off a lot of time from her nursing job. She went to as much physical therapy as possible to try and fix her back without surgery or anything more invasive. After her doctors decided she’d done as much physical therapy as possible, she had some medical procedures on her neck and back to try and relieve her pain.
