The Structural Difference
The credential that can’t be bought
Both partners are Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction held by less than 1% of Texas lawyers. It requires proven trial experience, a rigorous specialty examination, and vetting by judges and fellow lawyers. Marketing awards are sold by the thousands; this is earned in courtrooms. It is the first thing we would check before hiring any trial lawyer, which is why it is the first thing we show you.
The lawyer you hire handles your case
Some firms sign thousands of cases a year and hand them to case managers or junior lawyers. We take a deliberately limited number of serious cases, and Brian Beckcom or Vuk Vujasinovic personally leads every one of them, from the first day to the last. That promise is only possible because of the math: a small docket is the price of partner-level attention, and we pay it on purpose.
We learned the defense playbook from the inside
Both partners started their careers at large firms representing some of the biggest companies in the country; Brian Beckcom started at Fulbright & Jaworski, then one of the largest law firms in the world. We know how corporate defendants prepare: the document discipline, the expert strategies, the settlement playbook. Now that knowledge works for injured people and their families. It is very hard to be surprised by a defense you spent years learning from the inside.
Built for the courtroom, and the other side knows it
The defense bar keeps track of which firms actually take cases to verdict. Settlement numbers follow that reputation. Every case we accept is prepared for trial from day one: experts retained early, depositions taken to lock testimony down, every claim traced to the defendant’s own witnesses and records. The results below are what that preparation produces.
