Todd Elias is a highly accomplished personal injury and maritime trial attorney based in Houston, Texas, with more than three decades of experience representing injured workers and families in complex, high-stakes litigation. Throughout his career, Todd has secured millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts across a broad range of catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.

Todd earned his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1993. He is licensed to practice in Texas and is admitted to multiple U.S. District Courts, including the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas, as well as Arkansas. His practice focuses on maritime and offshore injuries, railroad worker claims under the Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA), serious workplace accidents, toxic exposure, industrial site injuries, and major motor vehicle collisions.

His litigation experience includes leadership roles in some of the most significant industrial and transportation disaster cases in the country. Todd also played a prominent role representing victims of the Deepwater Horizon disaster. He represented multiple injured offshore workers as well as the family of Karl D. Kleppinger Jr., one of the eleven men killed in the explosion. He pursued compensation under the Jones Act and through claims against responsible entities, including BP and Transocean, while also participating in proceedings before the U.S. Coast Guard and the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation, and Enforcement.

In addition to his trial work, Todd is an active member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. Through these organizations, he contributes to ongoing advocacy efforts to protect the rights of injured workers and preserve access to the civil justice system.
