statewide insurance logoWe have been hired to represent a family injured in a car wreck. We are investigating a car wreck that occurred on February 28, 2017 in Houston, Texas. A mother had picked up her five children from school and was driving home. She was in the process of getting onto I-10 at Lathrop when a car tried to pass her on the right and hit her. The mom had been obeying all traffic laws when she was hit. The driver of the other car switched spots with the passenger before the police came - the person who hit our client didn't have any paperwork to be driving. The passenger at the time of the wreck owned the vehicle and is insured by Statewide Insurance.

Our client's car was driveable and she needed to get her children home. The next day, she realized the pain she felt on impact wasn't going away, so she went to the ER. No bones were broken, but she was dealing with pain in her shoulder and neck. One of her sons is also recovering from injuries sustained in the wreck. Her husband had hired us after he was injured in 2008 and recommended that she call us for help. She has hired Curtis to help her get the medical treatment she needs and to hold the other driver accountable for his unsafe actions. We have filed a lawsuit against the owner of the car.

We will provide updates as this investigation and case progresses. To contact us about this case or to find out more information, call us at 877-724-7800 or fill out a contact form.
