Did you witness the motorcycle - tanker truck crash on Tidal Road in Houston on November 14, 2012?

An 18 wheeler and motorcycle accident can be traumatic. Evidence will be brought from the scene along with compliance with truck driving regulations and downloaded from the "black box".

Reports indicate a motorcyclist, Anson Guillory, sustained fatal injuries in a crash with a tanker truck on Tidal Road in Houston, Texas on November 14, 2012.  Our law firm is seeking anyone who may have witnessed this crash.  If you did, please contact us as soon as you can at 877 724 7800.

According to the investigating deputies, an 18 wheeler was traveling northbound on Tidal and turning into an entry gate at Lubrizol Corp, when Mr. Guillory, who was travelling southbound on Tidal, crashed in to the truck.

The deputies will prepare a written report of their investigation of this crash.  However, from the description of the accident in media reports, it appears as if the 18 wheeler bears at least some responsibility, and quite possibly full responsibility, for turning in front of the motorcyclist and failing to yield the right of way.

Most likely, the parties involved in this accident will want to hire private experts to do an "accident reconstruction" of this crash.  They will also want to check this trucker's background and qualifications, driver's logs, and his compliance with the truck driving regulations.  The data also should be downloaded from the "black box" that would be in the 18 wheeler.

Our law firm recently handled a motorcycle accident case involving very similar facts.  We settled that case for $4,500,000.

This accident appears to have been preventable on the part of the 18 wheeler driver.  Companies and people who are responsible for tragedies such as this must be held accountable for their actions, and we hope that this can be done in connection with this tragedy.

Again, if you or someone you know witnessed this crash, please contact us at 877 724 7800.  Thank you.
