Two Amarillo teenagers are dead after their vehicle was struck by an SUV.

19-year-old driver Kaylin Pearson and her 19-year old passenger Kerniece Jonf were heading west on Amarillo Boulevard early Sunday.

Pearson was turning left onto North Florida Street when her car was hit on the passenger side by a Chevy Tahoe. Both girls died at the scene.

The unidentified 50-year-old driver of the Tahoe and his passenger were not injured.

An autopsy will be administered to Pearson and Jonf. It is unclear if alcohol had any involvement from either party.
