Motorcyclist Dies after Colliding with Truck on Texas Freeway

A motorcyclist has been killed in a horrible Texas car accident on the Northwest Freeway this morning, police say.

Around 2:30 in the morning on December 14, witnesses reported a motorcyclist going about 100 miles per hour. The motorcycle crashed into the back of a pickup truck near Pinemont, and the rider was thrown from his bike.

Police have reported that the rider was then run over by a vehicle. The driver, who was unable to stop due to slippery road conditions, dragged the rider for several feet.

The motorcyclist died at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
