Liberty Maritime QMED Hires VB Attorneys For Injury Lawsuit

A QMED employed by Liberty Maritime Corporation was injured while working aboard one of the company's cargo ships.  The QMED has just hired our attorney Vuk Vujasinovic to represent him in his Jones Act claim.

The company's treatment of our client before he hired us is, unfortunately, a familiar story to us.

Liberty Marine said our client could only see company doctors, or it would stop his benefits.  A company doctor who never even saw the QMED placed him at Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI), when he was very clearly not ready to be placed at MMI.

At that point, Liberty Marine stopped the QMED's maintenance payments and refused to pay for any more doctor treatments.

Our attorneys are going to handle this Jones Act lawsuit, which will include claims of maintenance & cure, medical care, lost wages, and impairment.
