Texas Toyota Recall Accident Lawyer: Toyota Black Boxes Won't Lie

Most modern cars, including Toyotas, have "black boxes" in them. Officially, these items are called "data event recorders." These are just like the "black boxes" you hear about in airplanes.

In other words, Toyota's position is -- "we will only retrieve this data if a judge makes us do it."

The result of this is that people injured in crashes involved in Toyota recalled vehicles will have no choice but to file lawsuits against Toyota if they want to find out what the black box says.
