If a Houston police officer investigated your car accident, call us right now at (877) 724 7800 and we will get you a copy of the police report for your accident, free of charge, and with no obligations.
We handle hundreds of Houston-area car accident claims, and we have multiple ways to quickly obtain copies of HPD reports. This is the easiest and cheapest way for you to immediately get a copy of your police report.
Alternatively, you can visit the City of Houston police report website. However, this is a more time-consuming and costly method of obtaining a copy of your police report, since we will do it for you free of charge, and we know how to get them very quickly.
If you choose to get your report from the City of Houston website, you have to create a new account by providing a user name and password. You must provide the "incident number" for your accident (police officer should have provided you with a slip containing this number), and at least two of the following pieces of information: (1) date of crash, (2) location of crash, (3) names of drivers. It costs you $7.50 to get the accident report this way.
Instead of getting your police report on line, you can get it by mail by sending a check for $6.00 payable to "City of Houston" along with a self addressed stamped envelop containing the above information to HPD, Records Division, 1200 Travis, Houston TX 77002.
Or, you can go in person to the HPD Records Division / Public Counter at 1200 Travis, 1st Floor. The counter is open M-F from 8a to 5p, and the cost is $6.00.
