Waco Man Jailed After Leaving Scene Of Accident

Neri Galan of Waco, Texas was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident on I-35 near Clear Lake, Iowa, which left one man dead.
On Friday, Frederick Langrock was driving a Chevrolet Astro Van down I-35 when he rear-ended a charter bus, driven by Galan. According to the Iowa State Patrol, the impact caused Langrock’s van to rest on the inside shoulder of the highway.

Galan fled the scene, leaving Langrock there to die in his van.

Galan and the charter bus were later found by unmentioned sources. Galan was taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail, but was later released.

Leaving the scene of a personal injury accident is a Class D felony and can result in serious jail time and monstrous bails. When a death is involved, the moral dilemma is clear and may offer years of lock up.

It is unclear who Galan’s attorneys are and he hasn’t made any statement regarding his felony.
