The
Houston VB Law Firm has been hired by a worker who was seriously burned because a flare gun containing a bird repellant cartridge malfunctioned.
Attorney Vuk Vujasinovic is lead counsel for the burn victim.
The worker was using a flare gun that contained a
"Screamer Siren" cartridge. This product is distributed by
Reed-Joseph International Company. It is manufactured by a German company, ABA Pyrotechnik, GmbH.
According to the
Material Safety Data Sheet for this product, it is a "pest control pyrotechnics" device and a "specialized explosive." The Screamer Siren is classified as a 1.4S Explosive by the U.S. Department of Transportation and its use and distribution is highly regulated.
