Toyota has
recalled approximately 2.3 million vehicles related to problems with its cars accelerator pedals.
Toyota's accelerator pedals can become stuck and causing continued acceleration. This current recall, is different than the prior
Toyota recall involving
Toyota floor mats.
According to
Toyota, the problem with the accelerator pedals may have to do with condensation forming on the sliding surfaces of the accelerator pedal.
Toyota is currently trying determine how to address this serious problem to make its cars safe for the public.
