Texas State University Motorcycle Accident Sends Biker To Hospital

A horrific motorcycle accident happened on Texas State University Campus when a man lost control of his bike while traveling southbound on Sesson Drive. The biker swerved into oncoming lanes and collided with the Campus Loop bus.

When the San Marcos Police Department arrived on the scene, the driver of the bike was talking, however his injuries were severe. The bike was swept under the bus’ front axle and fragments were scattered all over the street.

Sessom Drive was closed as the street was cleaned, causing bumper to bumper traffic to surround the campus.

Witnesses that were on the bus have said the impact was so intense, they thought they hit the guardrail. It wasn’t until they saw the motorcyclist lying on the road that they realized what had happened.

The motorcyclist was taken to the University Medical Center Brackenridge for treatment. There have been no reported injuries from anyone aboard the bus.

Motorcycling is one of the most dangerous forms of transportation. It is extremely easy to lose control and to underestimate timing of oncoming traffic. Injuries happen every day. Don’t be one of them!

The lawyers at V&B have settled many motorcycle cases, the most recent for $4.5 million where the rider was not wearing a helmet. We have the experience it takes to help you deal with the aftermath of your injuries.

If you have been injured in a motorcycle accident, you have rights.
