Texas Attorney General Greg Abbot has filed a lawsuit on behalf of the State of Texas against BP, charging the company with illegally releasing about 500,000 pounds of air pollutants at its Texas City refinery for a period of forty days.
This comes on the heels of lawsuits being filed by thousands of Texas City residents who fear they were exposed to this dangerous chemical.
