A search is still out for the driver who hit a pregnant woman on December 5, 2011 in Tyler, TX.
The woman was 29-year-old Latasha Little. Little was crossing the street in the 700 block of N. Palace when she was hit by a vehicle that was preparing to turn left. Little was thrown onto the hood of the vehicle then onto the ground.
Little walked to the A&W Grocery to use a phone when the driver of the vehicle pulled into the parking lot. Upon seeing that Little was calling authorities, the driver fled. Little was not able to provide a detailed description of both the suspect and vehicle, but she was able to identify him as an elderly black male.
Little received lower back pain and was transferred to the hospital. There hasn’t been any serious issues regarding her pregnancy, but the hospital took all necessary precautions.
Meanwhile, Tyler Police are still searching for the driver of the vehicle, and are attempting to obtain a video from surveillance cameras at the A&W Grocery. The investigation will be ever going until the driver is caught.
