Our law firm obtained the
initial Temporary Restraining Order against Enterprise Products, dated February 10, 2011.
After a Court hearing and continued negotiations with the company's attorneys, OSHA, the DOJ, and other investigative agencies, we agreed on a Site Control Plan with the company. This is a lengthy, detailed Plan that requires Enterprise Products to preserve all evidence related to the February 8, 2011 Mont Belvieu explosion.
We negotiated a new Court order, which turned the prior TRO in to a "Temporary Injunction." The Temporary Injunction, signed by the Judge on February 24, 2011, adopts the Site Control Plan and requires Enterprise Products to follow it during the investigations and follow up activities at its Mont Belvieu plant.
Any individuals who have an interest in making sure Enterprise Products preserves all evidence related to this explosion may take advantage of these Court orders.
