One Pilot Killed In Training Flight, Two Others Injured

A plane has crashed near Denton Municipal Airport, killing one pilot and injuring two others.
Xie Chengjie and Zhao Shuran were two pilots from China studying at the US Aviation Academy for a yearlong program to get their instrument rating. The instructor, Michael Lin, was aboard the plane.
The three men were flying to San Antonio on a training flight early Tuesday morning when the plane crashed just outside of Austin.
Chengjie was found dead at the scene, Shuran and Lin were found in the wreckage and taken to the hospital for serious injuries.
Authorities are unsure which pilot was driving the plane and have no answer to why it crashed.
