More automobile recalls to watch for, in order to prevent a Texas car accident injury

The New York Times has released a list of recent automobile recalls that, if ignored, can cause a serious car accident injury, potentially resulting in serious injury or wrongful death. If your car has a recall, bring it to the nearest dealership to have the problem repaired.

Here are more cars on the recall list, as reported in The New York Times:

Kia is recalling about 36,500 of its 2001-4 Optimas, but only from the District of Columbia and 20 states with a reputation for using a lot of road salt. That follows an identical recall in April of the Optima's siblings: Hyundai's 2001-4 Sonata and XG300 and XG350 (covering about 175,700 vehicles).

Recalling vehicles from certain areas is known as a regional or geographic recall. The federal agency allows it under the theory that if the problem is caused by a localized factor, like road salt, it is not necessary to force the automaker to recall other vehicles.

If you or someone you know has suffered injury from a Texas automobile accident, contact Houston, Texas car accident injury attorney Brian Beckcom immediately at 877.724.7800.
