Houston Tug Boat Accident Lawyer: tugboat "J.R. Nichols" sinks in Houston Ship Channel

News agencies are reporting that a 56-foot tug boat, the "J.R. Nichols," sunk last night, February 10, 2010, around 10:30 p.m. in the Houston Ship Channel near the Sims Bayou turning basin.  Four crewmembers aboard were recovered, however, one remains missing.

Rescue efforts by the Coast Guard and Houston police divers are continuing.

The Coast Guard is investigating the incident and will report on any cause of this tragedy that it determines.
