Houston Airport Tram kills contract worker, injures another

Chron.com is reporting that a tram at the Bush Intercontinental Airport killed one contract worker and injured another.

Details are sketchy right now, but we can guarantee the police will investigate.  In Texas, whenever there is a fatality accident, the police almost always do a full-blown accident reconstruction.  That means the police take measurements, lots of photos, and attempt to recreate what occurred.

We can also guarantee you that the insurance agents for tram operator and the men's employer(s) already have representatives at the scene to do their own investigation.

Unfortunately, what this means for the family of the deceased man and the family of the injured man is that the insurance company responsible for paying for any negligence has a head start.
