On Sunday, November 1, 2009, two men were injured when the Rotorcraft helicoptor they were traveling in crashed into the Gulf of Mexico approximately 75 miles off the coast of Galveston, Texas. An offshore supply vessel assisted the helicoptor crash men by taking them aboard after the helicoptor went down.
The two men were taken to the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Both men suffered severe back injuries during the crash.
Hopefully an investigation will determine what caused this Rotorcraft helicopter to crash.
