Helicopter crash case settled for $14,000,000.00
The Corpus Christi Monitor newspaper reports that the operators of an emergency medical services hospital helicopter have agreed to pay the families of a flight nurse and paramedic $14,000,000.00 to settle claims against the helicopter company.The helicopter crashed near South Padre Island in bad weather conditions. Apparently, the pilot was not properly trained to operate the helicopter in such conditions.
