Fashion Designer & Model Both Found Dead From Carbon Monoxide

Just hours after New Years Day, the bodies of fashion designer Ade Chandra Kirana Sagi and former model Randi Yana Putra were discovered dead.

According to autopsies performed at the hospital, the victims had red spots on their body and mouth, their nails also had turned blue – all of which are signs of carbon monoxide poisoning.

According to police, the two died from the gas without knowing it. However investigations are underway to figure out where the gas came from, though it is thought to be from a water heater in the bathroom. Since there were illegal drugs found in the home, an investigation is digging deeper in the story. However, the autopsy does not show signs of an overdose.

Carbon Monoxide is a silent killer that can be released in the simplest of appliances like heaters, stoves, lawn mowers, ovens, and vehicle exhaust.

Symptoms of mild poisoning can be lightheadedness, confusion, headaches, vertigo, and flu-like effects; larger exposures can lead to significant toxicity of the central nervous system and heart, and even death.
