Columbia Will Remove Defective PIP Breast Implant For Free

Columbia’s Health Ministry has said they would pay for removal of the defective breast implant manufactured by Poly Implant Prothese (PIP), only if a doctor recommends it or if they have ruptured.
PIP was once the third largest breast implant maker in the world, but in 2010 France ordered them to withdraw the implants after an investigation revealed it was using industrial-grade silicone in some of its products.

The implants appeared to have an unusually high rupture rate. Links to the unsafe silicone have possible links to cancer from the gel.

Argentina, Columbia, and Brazil have brought a huge flock patients from around the world to have breast implant surgery at an affordable rate. However, use of the PIP implant has been banned in these countries as well.

It is estimated that some 15,000 women have PIP implants in the Andean nation.

If you or someone you know has been affected by this defective implant, contact the attorneys at V&B for a free consultation and free information on how we may help. Toll Free: 888-473-1258.
