Arizona Bus Accident Kills 6

CNN is reporting
today that a bus crash in Arizona has claimed the lives of 6 people and injured all the rest of the remaining 22 passengers.

According to reports, the six victims were thrown from the bus about 5:30 a.m. on the Gila River Indian Reservation near the community of Sacaton.  The roof of the bus crushed in and all the windows were blown out.

Police are reporting that the bus hit a pickup.

The bus originated in central Mexico near Durango and entered the U.S. in El Paso, Texas.

My law firm has represented passengers injured on buses that originated their trips in Mexico.  We have seen some outrageously poor safety policies and procedures from some of these bus operators to the point you literally start to believe that they do not care about the lives or safety of their passengers.

In fact, I am currently representing a lady who was thrown into the aisle of a bus that started its trip in Mexico and had a spinal disc in her neck blown out.

The bus driver didn't even bother to stop the bus and check on her.
