Kenneth Fenelon is an attorney at Vujasinovic & Beckcom.  His favorite client was seaman who had devoted many years loyally working for his employer.  When he was injured, the employer forced him to work despite his pain.  His employer spent a lot of money on attorneys who tried to play games with the court’s procedures.  He knew that if it could win the legal games it may not have to pay the employee anything.  He enjoyed handling the legal game-play in the trial and appellate courts.   He showed the courts that the employer’s legal arguments were against the weight of the law.   After all of the court agreed, the company had no choice but to generously pay our client.

Kenneth was born in Houston and raised here among a family of lawyers and teachers.    He studied philosophy at the University of Texas and graduated with honors from its Humanities department.  After he graduated from South Texas College of Law in 2007, he began working for Sammons & Associates, P.C., where, he routinely and vigorously represented injured employees battle their multi-billion dollar employers, the various class one railroads.

Kenneth’s experience practicing under the Federal Employers Liability Act has earned him a comfort litigating in federal court shared by few personal injury attorneys.  Kenneth has handled and won a number of key motions in some of the least plaintiff-friendly federal venues.

Kenneth joined Vujasinovic & Beckcom, PLLC in 2010.  Because of the similarity in laws governing relationships between employees of railroads and employees of maritime industries, Kenneth’s prior experiences translate well into Jones Act.

Boats and trains aside, Kenneth represents clients in a variety of other matters, including those arising from automobile and eighteen wheeler collisions, tire defects, accelerator defects, and oil spills.
