We designed this website to provide information to consumers, injured people, and their families. Our goal is to level the playing field between consumers and insurance companies and expose the tricks, traps, and techniques they use to cheat injured people out of their legal rights. We also let consumers know about legal news, including verdicts and settlements and other interesting legal information.
But please understand that nothing on this website is meant to provide legal information about your specific case, create an attorney-client relationship, or imply that the results of your legal case will be the same as some other case.

Brian Beckcom is a sixth-generation Texan who grew up Northwest of Fort Worth. Brian is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Brian was raised by a single father who served as a Lt. Col in the United States Air Force and as a teacher in the public school system in Fort Worth, Texas.
Brian attended Texas A&M University. At Texas A&M, he was a member of the varsity basketball team, the Corps of Cadets, the Ross Volunteers, and numerous other honor societies. Brian was a Distinguished Commander in the Corps of Cadets, a varsity letterman on the basketball team, a two-year member of the Ross Volunteers, and the leader of the Air Force contingent in the Corps of Cadets, one of only a few non-contract cadets to serve in that capacity in the history of the Corps of Cadets.
After college, Brian attended the University of Texas School of Law. He graduated with honors, was selected to the Texas Law Review where he served as Chief Notes Editor, was a member of the Legal Eagles, and worked as a research assistant for the late Charles Alan Wright. During law school, he published a law review article that has since been cited by many legal commentators and authorities, as well as the Attorney General of the United States in a brief to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Brian began his legal career as a trial lawyer at Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P., in Houston, Texas, one of the largest law firms in the world. At Fulbright, he defended large corporations and insurance companies. Brian left Fulbright and founded Vujasinovic & Beckcom, L.L.P. with Vuk Vujasinovic to focus his practice on representing individuals, families, and business entities in complex legal disputes, with the goal of providing everyone with the same level of legal representation that the largest corporations and insurance companies in the world receive.
Brian has obtained recoveries for his clients in cases involving maritime and Jones Act injury and death cases, truck and car accidents, dangerous products, business and insurance litigation matters, and general personal injury, wrongful death, and business matters.
Brian has been nominated by his peers as one of Houston's "Professionals on the Fast Track" by H Texas Magazine.
Brian has published articles on maritime law and maritime injury cases, automotive product liability cases, defective tires, civil procedure and constitutional law, and the Texas appellate process. Brian's law review article in the Texas Law Review has been cited as supporting authority by the United States Department of Justice in a brief presented to the United States Supreme Court. Brian also edits and writes for www.TheMaritimeLawyer.com, a website dedicated to providing information about maritime law issues.
Brian has also attended one of the regional seminars for Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyer's College, one of the preeminent lawyer colleges in the United States, where the focus was on presenting your client's story at trial in the most compelling way.

I have some papers related to my accident. I don't understand them. Will a personal injury lawyer review them for me, for free?
